It was our friends birthday and we wanted something fun to do for a day trip.  We booked a brunch at Prince Michel Winery.  This was our first time there.  We took the scenic route through the hills of Louisa, Gordonsville, Orange and the little town of Pratts. The plantation style homes and horse farms were breath taking to say the least.  Even though it was the middle of January the scenes unfolding in front of us as we traveled were picturesque with a Blue Ridge Mountain Backdrop.
